Silk is the epitome of elegance and chic, and no matter what the runways dictate, it will always be a staple in any stylish wardrobe. There is something about silk pieces that never fail to enthrall. Silk dresses, silk skirts or shirts are the easiest to style: play endlessly with textures, volumes and colours. Silk can be molded to any time of day or function. Pair with chic sling-backs or with white sneakers; with blazers or strapless tops; with boxy t-shirts or layered under an oversized sweater. My current favourite combination is silk dresses with blazers on top or silk skirts with hoodies, but as I said, there are myriad choices for putting outfits together.
