Utility classic

It was for me a year of loss. It was a year where I had to learn go, to accept life as it comes, with loss and grief, with sickness and health, with wanted and unwanted changes. And these words are not to complain or to discourage anyone on the contrary. In the midst of life and death my values have become stronger.

What I implemented as a core value of my business was based on my experiences of working for a fast-fashion brand; if you would know their kitchen and know how they cook you would barely touch the food.

Now my values are even stronger also based on the experience of life and the experience of the people I work with. Loosing someone from the family made me realised a few things that I think are worth sharing in fashion related post. We entered in this society game of gathering as many things as possible, and many of them bring us the comfort we need to get through this life and that is ok. And let me mention this, this thoughts don’t come out of envy or frustration. I simply see with every occasion I enter a new wardrobe that we also gather so many useless things and hold onto them more than we hold onto the relationships with others, more than we hold onto the simple things that matter.

And maybe what I wanted to share is a reminder that quantity is not important, no matter what society says. Owning just a few things but quality ones will simplify your habits but also your soul and lifestyle. When the time comes for us to go, we don’t take anything with us, the people around us will not tell what beautiful coats or bags this person had, what you do for others matters more, what you do for your soul matters more than anything.

Wishing you the strength to always be able to curate anything you let into your soul, life and mind.
